We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Leivers Dance. LDS was established in 1982 by Michelle Leivers and is now managed by Michelle and Charlotte Leivers along with the support of the rest of our teaching team. Our dance Classes are Fun Packed and High Energy.
Leivers Dance are Affiliated to the International Dance Teachers Association as well as Acrobatic Arts and Exercise to Music. In addition to this we are Licensed users of Pirouette Surgery and Leap Surgery. |

Styles at Leivers Dance
Leivers Dance School offers classes in Ballet, Modern Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, Acrobatic Dance, Exercise and Fitness to Music and Cheerleading. We cater for all ages and in addition to the LDS (school age children) classes we also offer Adults Classes.

Uniform Requirements
Correct uniform is required for Leivers Dance Classes as it ensures the safety of dancers. Dancers should not wear tights or socks to dance in as they may slip. There is no rush to get the uniform however once you are ready all uniform can be found on the Online Store page within the Leiversdance website. Please ensure that you know your child’s group, Darcie, Jitterbugs, Pirouettes, Showstoppers, Ultimate Dancers or Fusion.

LDS Dance Coaches & Dance Friends
We feel that it is important not only to teach dance but also to teach skills which will help students when going out into the world of employment. Our dance Friends and Dance Coach Programmes are completely voluntary, however we hope that they give skills in lots of different areas, not only dance, choreography and teaching but also time management, people skills and Confidence to name a few. Following a commitment to this programme many of our dancers have gone on to become teachers, professional dancers or to have their own businesses.
Payment information
All payments are due for collection on the first of the month in advance of that months training.
We charge a yearly amount for the number of classes offered, taking into account closures for school holidays. This total amount is then divided into 12 equal monthly payments. This is not a yearly contract and you are able to cancel your subscription at any point should your dependant cease to attend classes. (no refunds are offered due to closures relating to snow).
Cancellation process
-Email dance@leiversdance.co.uk notifying us that you wish to release your space or the space of your dependant in classes.
-This must be done by the 20th of the month prior to when you wish to release your place
ie if wishing to release your space from April we must receive notification to dance@leiversdance.co.uk by the 20th March
- If we do not receive cancellation notice by this date via email we will not cancel your payment.
-Please note that no refunds will be given for fees collected when a cancellation is not made following the above process.
